We arrived at the assembly point (tolling plaza), like last time, at 16:00. This time the traffic congestion was less. Cars drove along two lanes. Some car owners showed their cards to the controllers and drove slowly past the checkpoint. Others lingered at the checkout and paid. According to the representative of the company «INNOVATIVE ROAD SOLUTIONS», who for some unknown reason did not want to introduce himself, special cards have already been introduced, costing 64 somoni 80 dirams. They are valid for 10 days. This card is issued for residents of the Varzob region. Having bought such a card, drivers can pass through this point several times without making a payment. There is one more innovation. From April 3, by the decision of the city khukumat, bus number 24 (PAZ) began to run on the route Dushanbe — Dahan. Bus drivers pay a toll once a day (18 somoni), and the rest of the time they pass free.
