Audi employees are conducting a final test of the newest vehicle of the TT generation. The presentation of the car should take place at the end of March, at the Geneva Motor Show. They are in no hurry to remove camouflage from the car, but the general feature of the exterior is visible.
The new Audi TT bears great resemblance to the Allroad Shooting Brake concept model unveiled recently at the North American Auto Show. This concept car is the harbinger of a new crossover vehicle that the company plans to build on the TT platform. The newest generation TT car will be built on the basis of the Volkswagen Group’s MQB. At its disposal, the model will receive 1.8 and 2.0-liter engines with a power level of 180 and 220 horses, respectively. Also, the company’s employees are planning a «charged» version — TT RS, which will be equipped with a five-cylinder turbo engine with a power level of 380 horses.
