Mazda plans to bring a concept modification of the MX-5 roadster called the GT Concept to the UK Festival of Speed, which opens on 28 June. At the same time, the manufacturer does not exclude the possibility of launching this modification into a series: as it was informed in Mazda, experts will study the opinions of show visitors about such a car.
The novelty, which was built by a racing studio called Jota Sport, received an upgraded two-liter aspirated gasoline engine, the power of which has now increased instead of one hundred and sixty horsepower, it is two hundred and eight horsepower. The motor works in conjunction with a standard manual transmission (six stages).
