One of the most pressing problems in the Angara region is housing, emphasized in his report Alexander Oreshkov, Minister of Roads and Construction in the Irkutsk Region. As statistics show, at the beginning of this year, the entire housing stock in the region amounted to more than 51.6 million square meters, of which 8.1% was attributed to emergency and dilapidated. More than 47 thousand families need to improve living conditions.
This year it is planned to commission 750 thousand square meters of housing in the region. At the end of last year, housing commissioning in the region amounted to 628 thousand square meters. For the first half of the year, the region took the fifth place in the Siberian Federal District in terms of housing commissioning, as well as first place in terms of the growth of commissioned housing, in relation to the data for the last year.
Alexander Oreshkov also informed about the long-term target program developed in the region to stimulate the development of construction until 2019. This program offers solutions to problems in the construction industry, housing pricing, an increase in the development of economy-class housing, ensuring personnel policy in the construction industry and co-financing the development of documents for territorial planning. In general, funding for the program will amount to 39.2 billion rubles.
